and you will find further details of these on pages 6 and 7 of this booklet. Apart from the statements of progression year by year and links to APP, there is a planning tool and a wealth of supporting materials including examples of effective medium- and long-term plans. More resources will become available during the coming year, directly linked to the SLDMs also outlined on pages 6 and 7.

We also encourage you to look at the national database of good
practice. Here you’ll find a bank of case studies describing school and
LA-based activities that demonstrate impact on achievement as
opposed to being simply descriptive. We are convinced that sharing
effective practice is key to helping schools develop.
If you have a case study you’d like to add, please do so. You might want
to discuss the site with your LA consultant or strategy manager, but be
assured that the system has effective quality assurance structures built
in so that what appears really does have merit.
